Open Data Day 2020 Submission Form
Thank you for your interest in Open Data Day 2020! Each year, EPL celebrates International Open Data Day by hosting a free Open Data Day event where we invite hackers, developers, designers, statisticians and anyone with an interest in data to spend the day experimenting and creating with open data.

Open Data Day 2020 will take place on Saturday, March 7 at the Stanley A. Milner Library. EPL is seeking proposals for workshops and lightning talks. If you are working on a cool open data project or are an experienced user of a helpful data tool, we would love to hear from you! You can find examples of previous years' talks and workshops on Open Data Day @ EPL.

Lightning Talks are quick, 5-minute presentations with a narrow scope. You'll want to focus on a single topic, project, idea, or technique. We welcome presentation proposals from individuals as well as representatives of projects with multiple stakeholders.

Workshops focus on working with a tool, language, or technique. They give attendees the opportunity to get hands-on with an open dataset.

If you would like to give both a lightning talk and a workshop, please fill out both sections. If you have more than one proposal for each, you will need to fill out a second proposal form. The submission deadline is 5PM MT, December 13, 2020.
